Yeah it's always the average joes that are the guilty sickos.

Police said that one of those arrested possessed the largest child pornography haul ever found on one person, a collection which needed 21 separate hard discs to house it.

Well it seems to me they caught the users, where is the Pimps or suppliers. Thats what they should crack.

I fully agree but while the stuff is freely accessible on the web you will always canvass new users, "weak individuals". They must ban porn on the web and get the creators. First ban porn on SA TV.

Don't equate normal porn with child porn, there's a big difference.

Bull, anybody giving in to porn will sooner than later fall into child porn. There is no confusion neither distinction!

What's the difference? While I understand what you mean, the one pushes the other's agenda so they should all be treated the same IMO.

By that logic, anyone giving in to shagging adults will sooner [rather] than later fall in to shagging children. :rolleyes:
 
Sure it's nice but the problem is that kids get sexualised in the media.
This leads to less inhibition towards sex when kids hit adolescence and
increased promiscuity among younger and younger teens. Maybe the
media should look at itself too and try to police itself more.

Then there
is child sex abuse of which 99% is comitted by non-pedophiles. In
SA the child sex abuse figures are incredibly high but its mostly
non-pedos who do the molesting - it's actually 'normal' heterosexual or
homosexual men (and occasionally women). So while busts like this
will protect a handful of children (which is always GOOD) there are
huge numbers of kids everyone forgets about.

As somebody honest enough to admit that i've been surfing quite a bit of pr0n since i got my first modem way back when we had to carve our own resistors and stuff out of wood, I can honestly say that you're whistling out of your ass

Fscksakes, the mere thought of using my daughter for something like that makes me sick to the gut. I'd gladly volunteer to be part of a firingsquad for those sick fscks
 
But you surely (as a regular porn purveyor) aren't going to complain if your daughter starts sharing home movies and pics with her friends and anonymous online folks - including all manner of perverts - when she's old enough? Just a wondering.
