Where in cape town can I buy a decent but yet inexpensive riding jacket? Must have a all protections like back, chest, shoulders and elbows.

Also how do you determine how good a jacket actually is? I dont know much about the gear but I dont want to be doupd either.

Budget is R2k but can go more if i really need to.

Thanks for the advise.

Cheap jacket for a cheap body... Save up a little more and get something decent. You will thank me after your first off. Expect to pay between 3.5 to 6K for something good.
When you sliding on tar at 60 or 120km/h - it will be the the only thing between you and mega road rash.

There is no such thing a inexpensive riding gear especially if you want certified arm and back armour. Triumph has some interesting jackets in the 5k to 7k range with certified armor inserts.
