Hi all

Ok well i owed Telkom money last month and went and paid the at Pick n Pay..i think i had a R30 outstanding..got my new bill last week and now it has this Service fee?thats at a mad amount of R310..R165 x 2...what is this and why should i pay it?! Mweb is all inclusive..so my only bill with Telkom is the phone line rental..

Please advice and what should i tell telkom..

This is for the failed "Debit Order" and then re-activating the line. If the stuffed up with the debit order call them and ask them to reverse the service charges.

They don't cut off your phoneline for just R30 outstanding

You tell telkom the same thing you told us and ask them what it is and why it was charged if you paid the balance in full. I've had several instances where I paid late or had some balance roll over to the next month without anything charged extra when I paid in full.

Also, it's easier to just pay online through their website, if you go through Pick'n'Pay or whatever it takes a week or so before the payment reflects on their side last time I paid through a 3rd party

Why even pay through their website when you can pay then straight from your banking site? The invoice includes the reference number you should use for EFTs.

EFT's work for me... and it's one less site I have to remember to go to for payments.
