How does the billing work?

I got my 3G on the 23rd. A lady called yesterday to tell me my first payment will be end of March. She couldn't give me more info.

Will I be billed from 23rd of Feb to 23rd of March or upto 31st of March?

How does my 1GB cap work. Will I get 5 days worth of 1GB i.e. 5/28 * 1GB for Feb or can I go ape for the rest of Feb?

Or will they cap me 1GB from 23 Feb to 31 March, i.e. if I use up my 1GB in Feb, will it screw me in March?

Was I stupid and really had to only sign up from 1st of March?

You will get 5/28 GB for Feb, and a Full 1GB for March. They operate on calendar months.
Billing depends on your service provider when you will be billed. If it is VSP, they will raise the first invoice on March 3rd which will include the 5/28 * 600 for Feb + 600 for March, payable at the end of March. So your first bill should be slightly more than R700 subscription fees in total plus any other bits and pieces they add on like Sim card, activation fee, itemised billing etc.
