On what day does Vodacom do their billing run?

Vodacom's monthly bundles roll over on midnight of the last day of the month and invoices are generating on or around the 4th. Does that help?

Farquaon, I have also picked up a flaw that I think you may be talking about, please PM me what you have experienced (will not discuss anything outside of PM), and yes, 4 - 6th is what service providers usually do their billing runs.
