Billion 5100SM : Big...Problems setting up

My telkom adsl line was installed this afternoon, the modem is connected to the pc via ethernet cable... but in my "Network Connections" the LAN reports, "Limited or no connectivity"... Im desp for my new connection!


I have rebooted the pc
I have disabled the connection and then enabled it again....
I have rebooted the oc again...


Does... anyone... have a solution? Billion are busy investigating as I type!

We live happily ever after... so far!

Billion Tech advised to give the lan a static address and....

after a lot of fiddling and irritation

I decided to unplug the ADSL router, plug it back again,, and now we live happily ever after! ;-)
