Hi Guys

I use the Billion 5200s at home and would like to use bridge mode.
However, my modem seems to have two options.

Option 1 is listed alongside Encapsulation as a radio button labled "Bridge Mode"

Option 2 is listed alongside PPPoE/PPPoA and is two radiobuttons (Activated /Deactivated ) labled "Bridge Interface"

I've taken a look through the manual, and the billion website and niether are very helpful.

What is the difference of the above two options, and how do I go about using bridge mode on my router?

Anybody else have any experience with this modem?

Thank you

Sorry not in front of a Billion router at the moment but if my memory serves me right:

Option 1 is only if you want to operate in bridged mode (Eg. Computer doing connection)

Option 2 is if you want to operate in bridged mode and have your router also have a connection. (Eg. Router one connection, PC Another connection)

I hope that make sense.

BillionTech - Am I wrong?

Thanks terencevs, I thought that might be the case - but thought it was only applicable to the more expensive 72xx range.
