Hello all,

Can anyone direct me to a place in Cape Town (Northern Suburbs preferably but any area will do) that sells very nice biltong but at reasonable prices? I used to buy at our local PnP for about R189 per kilo - but now they don't make biltong anymore. I can't see myself paying R289 / R300 a kilo for biltong.

Many thanks!!

Thanks everyone! Hmm I phoned all these places - and prices ranges from R259 - R300 per kilo. Is there nowhere where one can get it at less than R200 a kilo?

Yes you can get it for less, but only if you make it yourself :D

Dropped by Cape Venison today.
Kudu and Beef droe wors @ R229/kg.
Droe wors tastes great. Can't wait to fry up the kudu patties (R90/kg).
Good variety of meats and prices in the shop. Happy customer :)

Joey's in brackenfell have it for R200 per kilo and it is really good.

Joey's is by far the best for biltong on the northern suburbs. Their wors is also of the best, so is their beef.

Maybe on the expensive side but at least it is quality.

Compares favourably with what we can get in PTA East.
