Cairo - Al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden issued a new audio message claiming responsibility for the Christmas day bombing attempt in Detroit and vowed further attacks.

In a recording carried by the al-Jazeera Arabic news channel, Bin Laden addressed President Barak Obama saying the attack was a message like that of September 11 and more attacks against the US would be forthcoming.

"The message delivered to you through the plane of the heroic warrior Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab was a confirmation of the previous messages sent by the heroes of the September 11," he said.

"America will never dream of security unless we will have it in reality in Palestine," he added. "God willing, our raids on you will continue as long as your support to the Israelis will continue."

On Christmas Day, Nigerian national Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab attempted to blow up the Northwest Airlines flight he was sitting on as it approached Detroit Metro Airport. But the bomb he was hiding in his underwear failed to explode.

Hmmm i am thinking the US is looking for a reason to attack Iran :D

The next news article should be how Iran is helping bin laden.
 
Funny how he just happen to show up on an AUDIO message when the US president needs it most...
 
I hope this pig dies a filthy painful death in the desert with his guts in his hands and his blood seeping into the sand. A US marine will be standing over him with a smoking gun. :) Just a dream I have. For the blood of all the innocents he has killed all over the world, he deserves no less.
 
amazing when you believe God is on your side what you're capable of... puzzles me how they think God cant do this himself, He needs them to decide and take action. Excuses of animalistic behavior. thats all it was, and all it will be.

Surely what's left of this guy must be entombed in some Afghan cave? After all that's happened, I'd say that advertising future attacks against the US would only serve to make it harder to pull off.

If I were him, I'd shave my beard, ditch the pyjamas, sail to an island somewhere and keep my mouth well zipped.

More people have died in the name of God than all the wars put together. And how smart they must feel to overlook the "Thou Shalt not Kill" commandment whenever it suits them.

Having said that, I still can't think why they'd like to attack the US, because AFAIK, they haven't suppressed the Muslim faith at all. Hell, America is the most "neutral" when it comes to faith/religion seeing as though saying something like "Merry Christmas" finds people suing others because they are of a different faith than them... so "Happy Holidays" are in order all around...Bin Laden has a rich family, filled with oil. I say Bin Laden wanted to have gay sex with G.W Bush for more oil and G.W told him to **** off.... which started the whole thing...

yeah Osama is a made up character, its actually George Bush in a drag suit. o if they capture him then they will need a new reason to justify their presence in the middle-east! Islam bashing doesn't count.

Not really, as long as the US blindly ignores Israeli actions and accepts their in action requests the whole 'why do they want to do bad things to the US' is stupid to ask. Also, to ignore the HUGE pro-zionist groups in the US is stupid. Its like pissing in a pool and then pretending the water is just clean and warm. ;) That being said, the Palestinian tie in is odd as that's the least of his concern. Heck why mention that when there are plenty situations more relevant to him. I guess we will see a tie in coming speeches from gov pr's
 
Hmmm, these security threats are big business!! Who is really behind it all? Are they using religion as an excuse to wage war so that they can benefit from it financially?

I always say "follow the money".

Which explains why the extremists are attacking Muslims and various other people from different states or of different religions.

In any case as long as Israel existence is threatened the U.S and the west will stand by them. Unfortunately Israel knows this so they can push the boundaries of acceptable behavior
