Binance pushing for global crypto standards after FTX bankruptcy

Changpeng "CZ" Zhao, head of crypto exchange Binance Holdings Ltd., said the firm plans to spearhead an effort with other industry players to set global standards in the wake of the bankruptcy of rival FTX.

"As an industry we need to increase transparency," Zhao said at a conference in Bali, Indonesia.

What of the rumours that the whole farce is due to a money-laundering operation related to Ukraine?

dunno about that being as big as "the whole farce", but there was certainly a connection:

for that matter Celsius was also collecting donations for Ukraine, donations that apparently never got to their intended destination

All I know is, crypto properties owned by Binance have grown exponentially, as CZ would say, stay #SAFU ;)

I like the man, but he sure is gaming social media.

I am curious what this vetting process will be like,

To reduce further cascading negative effects of FTX, Binance is forming an industry recovery fund, to help projects who are otherwise strong, but in a liquidity crisis. More details to come soon. In the meantime, please contact Binance Labs if you think you qualify. 1/2

Also welcome other industry players with cash who wants to co-invest. Crypto is not going away. We are still here. Let's rebuild. 2/2
