Anyone watched Dr Who Knock Knock on iPlayer?

What did you think of binaural sound?

I thought it was stunning. If you allow yourself to get lost in the show it even looks 3Dish. Hope the trend grows.


N.B. Use stereo headphones to get the sound benefit.

Essentially this is what Dolby Atmos Headphones and Virtual Reality systems all use so it should become pretty standard soon.

Weird technically binaural 3D sound goes back a long ways and even in early 2000s it looked like it was going to hit the PC market big. But it just didn't seem to happen, the concept is awesome though.

Yes, stunning.

With a bit of imagination it seemed to affect the visuals too.
