Ok so i got one of these fingerprint readers as a gift. Really fun toy but the software is crap!

Here's is my device:

It came bundled with Omnipass that didn't support x64...
I then downloaded a newer version that does support x64 but the software is very annoying and gets very confused with Firefox - prompts for a login every 10 seconds or so.

I soon got rid of Omnipass and gave DigitalPersona a try. This seemed much more finished and stable. But this software requires finger swipes, which I don't think my device supports very well. I have to swipe quite a few times during the test & set-up process and then when I get pass that, I simply cannot get it to recognise any swipes while trying to login :-\

Does anyone have any other software suggestions?
I looked at Secure PC Login, but from the screen shots I see this uses finger swipes too so I'm thinking it's gonna give me the same problems as DigitalPersona.

I sincerely hope these devices are not limited to the software they come bundled with
