Cant say I have ever had these Issues with my 9700? i think my BIS has only been down twice and it was back up in a matter of a few minutes.

in regards to battery pulling you dont have to physically take the battery out,do a full device restart,press the alt key,then the aA key and then press del key,it will restart ur device as a battery pull would do,make sure you hold down alt,aA and then press del key for it to work,useless info if you knew already but if you didnt will save you a battery pull,also to make your phone a lil faster hold down alt and type LGLG and clear all the logs

Should only be once,it takes about 15-20 secs for phone to restart

You can search for an App via Appworld called RestartMe, which is very easy to use. Just click Restart and the phone restarts as if you did a battery pull.

Used to use that, but found it had a tendancy to work if and when it felt like it, full of errors. Quickpull works way better and is updated more regularly to keep it compatible with the BB devices and OSs as they come out.
