BIS and iPhone

Hi,

My BB Bold's screen is damaged and needs to be repaired/replaced or maybe not - cost depending.

I am currently using my old Iphone and wanted to know if the BIS also works on the iphone? Or will I be paying data fees for normal applications like facebook and twitter?:confused:

Any idea on the costs of replacing the screen? (BB Bold) It's not cracked (although that might have been cheaper) - but it's white, so needs to replaced I'm thinking!

The data you guys are referring to - does that include Whatsapp?

BB's sometimes throws a white screen of death with a Error stipulated on it and then refuses to boot. If you are a Vodacom client book the phone in at a Vodacare centre. They will sort it out for you.

ANY data used with the Iphone will be charged for...email, WhatsApp, internet and any other apps running on the phone that uses data on the network. BIS does NOT work on Iphone.

Friend had his 9780 screen replaced, cost R800. Not sure where tho, i'll get details and post here when i see him.

Not too sure on whatsapp data consumption, probably similar to mxit i would guess.
 
It doesnt reflect any error - I can still phone if I know the number - I just cant view anything on the screen. BBM's still coming through etc. Screen just WIT!
 
Blond yes - but tippex finished for quite some time now!:p Dropped phone - hopefully that doesnt make me blonde!

Might I suggest you keep that tidbit of information to yourself when you book it in? :)
