BiS Not Working

Hi

Since the weekend i have been having problems with my blackberry. I cant use BBM, Application World, Facebook or any other application that uses BiS. Most of the time my status show BiS is not connected.
I even tried updating my OS and registering everything again.

Is anyone else having this problem?

I'm with Vodacom via Nashua Mobile.

I've been in the exact same situation as you, but Vodacom have just ignored me on this issue. I think they are over subcribed and do not want to upgrade their facilities. This has been going on for 3 months for me.

Sounds like Vodacom being Vodacom. They are getting too many customers on BIS and their networks cannot handle it so instead of upgrading they keep the current network infrastructure so they can keep reaping in millions from us!

Moved to MTN for BIS a month ago & it's a lot better. Vodacom network not just problematic for BIS, my Android tablet 3G connection with them is pathetic :-(

I currently have a blackberry with vodacom BIS and I will NEVER recomend it to anyone...
If you want a decent phone with internet get a Andriod...

Currently according to Vodacom BIS should be 100% working so it might just be a area thing?
