At the moment they are 100% completely open with no shaping. I just did a test and got 5Mbps per second on my own link.

Has the coverage map been updated? Looks like there are a bunch more towers in the West Rand. Previously I was covered by 2 towers maybe (Allensnek) but now it looks like 4!?

Failed the LOS test today 
Looks like the Olivedale/Jukskei park ridge is blocking the view to the high site.

Hi Garth,
Family of mine stays in the Rand and Dal/Krugersdorp area. Now from what I can see on the coverage map is that they fall within one of outer coverage circles. They stay in Hugo street btw. They have a crap load of trees around the back and the side of the property, however the front is clear and open. Is it a good guess to use the middle of the circle as an approximate high site?
When I go there again I want to get on the roof and check if they have a clear LOS in that direction before getting you guys out. Just need a rough idea of which way to look. If it's around the back or the side of the property, no chance

You are correct... the middle of the circle is approximately where the high site is located, although we do offset them slightly.

Cool thanks. Will get on the roof and check for them in that direction. Their house is situated on the northern side of the street entrance facing south and there should be a clear line of sight if the neighbours don't have massive trees. Will check and point them to you if I think they might have a chance
Something I noticed today, I wanted to download the latest image of both RaspBMC and Ubuntu Server 14.10. Both downloads were very slow, is this something that is also throttled during the day? I was not using P2P links, but the official download links.
