Seriously though, I still don't know very much about the workings of either, but the idea with Ether of having a contract 'script' sounds like it has a lot more potential than just 'virtual money' - whether the uses for it would be legitimate or not. That said Ether(ium) still has a long way to go before it's as popular as Bitcoin
