Bitcoin reaches $10,000

Bitcoin breached $10,000 for the first time in about 15 months, recouping more than half of the parabolic increase that introduced mainstream investors to the digital asset before the bursting of the cryptocurrency bubble.

“The bounce back of Bitcoin has been fairly extraordinary,” said George McDonaugh, chief executive and co-founder of London-based blockchain and cryptocurrency investment firm KR1 Plc. “Money didn’t leave the asset behind, it just sat on the sidelines waiting to get back in.”

Bloomberg fomo'ing again.

So another bubble in the early stages? Question is ... do you get in on it or not? And if you do, when do you pull out?

Despite the volatility, I don't believe there is any asset class which comes close to BitCoin in the past year, 6 months, 1 month, 1 week or 1 day.

That's just timing and the current spike.

How would it have looked if you pulled it 2 months ago?

$5,200.00 on the 22nd April 19 and $9,140.00 on the same date 2018?

A forum of tech nerds and you're copy pasting bloomberg articles about a 10k bitcoin. You couldn't write that yourself? Could even have pulled some charts from the bitcoin thread to make it a bit more personal and relevant and interesting to the members here.

/fk knows why I still get annoyed with these articles.

Bought R750 worth of bitcoin in May via Luno. Currently sitting at R970.

Might be a question for the bitcoin thread, but not sure whether it's worth doing micro transactions by buying and selling for R200 profit?
