I have seen this a few times. From our research, we saw the red herring was a LinkedIn hack a few years ago.

I own several domains and get these emails even on alias addresses where there has never been a user + the "password" is always blank so these are nothing more than automated empty threats

Anyone who has any sense would know it's not possible to use your browser as an RDP session to keylog or do anything outside of the container (that is the browser). People are so uneducated. It's no wonder basic crap like "driving" goes over their heads

This is an old scam. There are databases of emails with passwords that are sold to scammers and hackers.
If you have used the same login details for ages without updating your password, its possible the details are correct.
People just send out bulk emails to all the addresses on the list with the same email contents.
Some people believe the scam and send money, but you should just ignore.

Make sure you update you password!
