Interesting suggestion thanks. Why Euro and why Kraken? What's your opinion on their liquidity versus USD to FTX or Binance?
If you had trillions then liquidity matters in foreign exchanges. Even a few million rand is a drop in the ocean for any of these.

Eur is executed faster than usd. If you do eur 8am you will have funds on acc same day sometimes by 12 midday on kraken.

When usd is used the eur deals for the day are settled first by a bank.

The international rates are the same binance kraken ftx all a few usd out.

There will be more chances to buy under R20K. Bear markets don't end in a flash like this weekend. I'm happy with taking some profits on my sub $18,000 buys here over $20K, and will wait for the next dip.

Do you think it will dip again before it climbs?

Want to buy a few more BTC but not sure if there might be another dip first

It will dip & climb throughout your life ....

but seriously?

Wayne Mccurry from FNB wealth and investments summed it up pretty well on the Money Show yesterday, he was discussing the stock market but can be applied to bitcoin in mu opinion. We are probably near the bottom and you can start buying back in. It doesn't mean you won't be crying in 2 months as it might go lower but in 3 years you will probably be smiling.

I believe bitcoin will hit $100 000 in the next 4 years so it is irrelevant if I buy at 20k, 22k or 24k. Some people even believe it is digital gold and will be valued at $ 500 000. Its all still speculation and NEVER invest anything you can't afford to loose.

Very likely the case.

Of particular importance is the reasons you have for buying at any time. The assumption here is that the intention is to HODL but even then, you need to have decided why bitcoin (or any other asset) and what your ultimate time horizon is. Jesse Livermore the stock speculator put it succinctly: The market doesn't owe you anything and it has no concern about your wants or needs. Crypto isn't a good store of value if one wants it as a source of funds when you need or want extra funds - the volatility is just too frequent and of too great magnitude.

That last sentence here must be the golden rule of every investor or speculator. The second rule is that investment in volatile assets mustn't be your financial safety net. Much too often the prices have plummeted just when you need extra resources.

Buy high, sell low. Could this be a move to make Tesla seem to be running at a loss?
