Best part about 1BTC equal to 1BTC is that BTC goes up over the years and the bestest part is the Rand keeps weakening, so when I do cash out my BTC in 15 years time it will be R40 to the USD making my BTC double in value in just inflation alone let alone the value of BTC that does go up anyways. Win win

having a mental picture of what is your RAND cost basis is alright, but it's easier to just denominate your portfolio in USD, otherwise you are putting on a forex trade

wont make a difference for tax, cash out via valr buy anything anywhere.

Cars paid for in crypto will still be declared for tax purposes on the dealer side so you cant "evade" like this

Ive heard some people hoping for a 100k by EOY. I have R35k in fiat sitting in my crypto wallet ready to buy BTC. Just not sure when to pull the trigger
