I have to wonder how sustainable that was. In those early days only a few coins would have been mined. Looking at the stats only 150 people could get it much like only a few people were able to buy sub $1.

Looks like 1billion+ on bybit, 32k to 37k in 10min
 
And a tear for all the stops triggered on alts.
Ah well, it's what they're there for.

I dont know if he actually bought. He put bitcoin in his profile and tweeted 'in retrospect it was inevitable' and boom. Billions. I highly doubt is was just a squeeze and fomo due to him tweeting... someone dumped a **** ton of cash in all at once to get the price up 5k+ in minutes imo :giggle:

Am I allowed to say on MyBB that I hate people like you who clearly have btc ;)

I need btc to get out of the stratosphere for a couple of days so I can invest, THEN it can go to the moon. Have been dreaming of it getting under 25K (see, I am not asking much here) and it doesn't. [PS Taking the access bond out of the house or "mining" the kids' education fund isn't part of my make-up, so I wait on the sidelines.]

Don't even ask about a couple of month's ago! I lie to myself that it was the fault of MTI because I was spending all my time watching the real-life drama of "Bonnie" and "Clyde" unfolding in real time.

Oh ok I thought you saw a single order of $1 billion. Anyway, that candle on such a short timeframe was cool to see.

:( Before that break out yesterday, sub 30k was still in play. We may still see a 31k/32k before new ath, but imo, sub 30's are stories we'll be telling our grandkids about 'back in the day'. This pump happened, next week Saylors meeting all the big billionaires to share his bitcoin strats etc, so I'm betting on a 60k feb:giggle:(although I'm usually wrong with my over-bullishness so don't bank on it)
 
lmao - had about 100kzar worth in BTC temporarily to buy another coin thanks to coindesk insisting on a 72hr hold. And happened to catch the 17% jump.

Thank you lady luck.

Now it just needs to hold 48 hours....

Don't worry mate, the death cross is still on. BTC usually dumps like 25% from that which will take us to 24k. It will struggle from then to break past 28.5k again. This bubble is going to burst at some point as well and take us back below 20k.
