I think it also depends on the timing as @Swa said. Fortunately, I haven't lost much money so far but I am too scared to do multiple buys and sells in a single day to be honest. Looking at the exchange dashboard is like watching a wild west movie!

I transfer bitcoin from my Luno wallet. Fees aside (should make it up in an hour) Binance has a lot more coins / options and the market limit works a lot better than Luno. Would highly recommend them or maybe I am coming off a low base with Luno

That sounds like a good idea. Funnily enough I haven't thought about transferring coins between exchanges so far. I will try that.

One problem with Binance is, how do you bring the money back in ZAR? transfer to Luno/VALR and then withdraw?
 
Correct transfer from Binance using bitcoin or ethereum into your luno wallet then pay into Sa bank account. I am not using massive amounts of money trying to turn 500$ into 1000$. It's still a gamble you need to make sure you can afford to lose the money. Ultimately for me the benefits outway the losses and the stop orders make it a lot easier to cover yourself
 
Here is a prediction that will be 100% incorrect. ATH 12 March in American time zoning. So anywhere between 12 March 12:30 SAST to 13 March 08:00 SAST we will see ATH. Once again I think I am incorrect, but this is my prediction.

Is it just me or am I seeing some pumping getting ready for dumping? Look at the 5min chart of BTC today... the big volume comes in after the jump and pushes it higher.

Fasten your seatbelts?

Some of the advice/recommendations in this thread is cringe worthy.

how do you know crypto is in a bull market? People that have no clue, start talking like: "invest in x coin"

I'm new on VALR. How do i send btc to my Binance wallet? Do i have to email them? Don't see a send option on the app.
 
Thanks saor. But, I only see a withdraw option on my zar wallet. Don't see any means to send my holdings to another wallet.
 
Okay. Found the little triangle withdraw icon at the top of the screen after clicking on btc. Thank you.
