Hello
I'm interested in Bitcoin and have met and been approached by people to join in although I have decided to invest I'm not really sure how to start and who to trust (in terms of platforms like Luno, etc) ... I am looking for people who are willing to share their personal experiences with Bitcoin on this thread as well as people who can recommend good references to help me learn before I dive in

OMW you are late to the party dont do it, some got lucky some got burnt and lost it all. May as well walk into a casino put all your chips on red and spin the wheel. I speak from experience I sold all of mine at it peak and wouldnt touch it again.

The reality is its the biggest form of gambling. I believe in the tech I dont believe in the cyprto unit as an investment. It was never meant for that.

If you really dont want to listen use the following:
Luno
Altcointrader
CEX

Please also dont fall for ponzi schemes...

Bitcoin is not a get rich quick scheme. If you believe in the technology that blockchain and cryptocurrencies will bring, then start buying bitcoin in small chunks and hold.

Send funds to Luno and buy bitcoin. Do not trade if you don't have trading experience.

Here is a guide to buy bitcoin on Luno - (normal stuff like don't use money you can't afford to lose etc and for god sakes don't make debt to buy bitcoin.)

LOL @ post #4 ... fooking funny my ou :p sorry for the loss :whistling:
Um not sure what you mean I said this:

"I speak from experience I sold all of mine at it peak and wouldnt touch it again. "

I bought XRP at 0.82 USD and sold at over 3.5USD no loss here... I wasnt greedy I also sold off in batches to ensure initial purchase was covered.

I only bought what I was willing to lose, we all knew it was a gamble, I won but wouldnt do it again...

Fact is that everybody who says they know are lying. It could be the end of the last 10 years or the start of the next 100 years. The safest bet is to learn the moves and buy at the lows and sell or short at the highs. Just don't use money you can't lose.

Nope what you want to invest in now is KBC - its a coin backed up by gold, its currently $5c - coinmarketcap - will be equal to 1g of gold in 2023 - Do the math if you buy R1000 (1700) coins x 40 x 14 = R500 000 odd by 2023. But buy now - karatbit exchange.
