Anyone using it? Whats it like?

The reason I ask is I currently have the 2008 internet security version and despite the one or two problems it has given me it has worked quite well. Anyway I got an email yesterday and they are offering to let me upgraded to 2009 IS for the remainder of my license (+- 6 months) and just wanted to know how it is before I download it.
 
If you have extra bandwidth, why not, but if you don't have extra bandwidth lying around stick with 2008 as it works pretty well.
 
I guess, Its only like a 70 meg download, but I have already used over 80% of my cap and we only 2/3s of the way through the month. I just wanted to know if anyone else has used it...

Otherwise I will download it later and see
 
I have 2008 running on my Winblows partition. Not sure if I will upgrade it, as I only use it to play games nowadays. If I don't can Winblows completely by the time my license expires, I will think of upgrading.
 
im running 2009! downloaded it about 2 days ago! it is very very cool! i actually prefer it to 2008 ! Im only running the antivirus 1 not the internet solutions! but i guess its nearly the same!
 
Just bought bitdefender internet security 2009 :cool:
have been using it since 2005 .didnt get the 2008 version as it didnt like my Vista ,that was bit def ver 10,I have come to realise lots of people might put Vista Compatible on to sell stuff.
Bought it from the PC Shop on Friday under R300 and can put it on 3 pc ,My 16yold that loves File sharing sites ME my Son in Varsity lappy.
Waiting for the 2009 to come out Did a lot of Trials and Free Stuff .
Bit is Easy to Train your Kids what to DO .MY 12 year old Called me to Ask me MOM whats Happening ( bit blocked a site he was linking )
I googled it later to find it was a Badi

I have been using it for just over a week now and I must say it has been working pretty well. One or two hassles, but otherwise it is actually a big step up from 2008
 
I am Now Having Major PROBLEMS with my bidefender

Today contacted RSA Telephone site ,Sent a cleanup tool e,mail
Dont work.
After 3 years its giving me up hill ( dont have it on my PC cant take it out or put it back )
Posted on the forum but every page I open have to sign in again
getting a bit Cheesed of a s I have still 166 days on 3 licence and all the PC `s

I reverted back to 2008. Tell the helpline you want to convert the activation code to 2008. If you don't have 2008, they can give you the url to download.

Thanks I now reInstalled my 2009 version and Clicked NO
when asked if I wanted the Newer updated one
Seems to be Working ok Now :cool:

What on Earth does that all even mean????
 
Hi,

I used Bit-defender, it is not detected by windows because windows cannot detect some ant-virus software, also be aware that Bit-defender is exclusively designed for.......Mac & linux computers. Don't be surprised if your bit-defender gets hacked soon using it with windows, This happened to me personally. I no longer use it. I have bit-defender, I'll sell you mine, for the highest asking price. It is useless to me, it's ineffective compared to norton or mcafee. It is a WEAK security program.

Find that strange - seeing so many people happy with their s/w, sure you didn't the wrong version.
