If you getting page cannot be displayed on your neoflex router on the wireless settings page or router status page. Its your bit defender blocking those pages i disabled bit defender and those pages show. For reason bit defender dosent give a warning of any sort that the page is being blocked.

I think neotel should have a knowledge base on there site so we can quickly resolve software related issues and setup issues and not waste unccessary time as i trusted the word of a call center consultant :( that it was a neotel problem should have known better :(.

Same problem here. Honestly I believe BitDef is really good anti-virus software.

But whos fault is it really BitDef or the manufactures of the device?

So I agree, when u need to access the routers pages just de-activate your anti virus for like 5min.

:rolleyes:Some pages can be accessed by defining a custom level anti-virus. By un-ticking the "Scan Yahoo Messenger Traffic"
I have no idea why this blocks some of the routers pages but once un-ticked you can access some of them.

Yup i just unticked the real time check when i went into the router and ticked it back again found it strange that it would do that i was running norton before without any problems. The software should say that a certain page is being blocked or not but it dosent  there must be some cgi script running on those pages or something.

In XP, I use BitDefender and have a D-Link wireless router, and have had no hassles accessing the router's settings page. Admittedly I use it mostly in Linux, but the times I've had to use it in XP, it has worked.
