Hi Guys

I stumbled on this new mmo in Beta and it seems to be something different. Its an Asian developed MMO but they are looking for a Western Partner.

Reading up on the game they have some cool features, like your guild can "buy" one of a limited houses in the world, and depending who the dominant faction is they have to pay taxes to keep the house, failing to pay taxes you loose the right to the building and it goes up for auction. You can upgrade the building inside and outside.
The world is also open for full exploration, climbing on buildings and towers, jumping from roof to roof. World interaction is also interesting, you can milk a cow, catch your own horse you want to tame, climb trees.
There will be the normal PVE and PVP plus massive sieges on castles.

Anyone have any means of bypassing this ip region block that they have going on?
Could unotelly not be used for this?

I always assume new mmo's are going to be **** until proven otherwise.
The renting of lands is nothing new, anarchy online was doing it 10 years ago. You could rent a plot and build a HQ on it, if you didn't pay the city would be destroyed and the plot opened for anyone to grab. People used to invest in land and rent it out to players that used it to raid for armor parts.

There are far more videos showcasing BDO's gameplay since 2014... Graphically, this will be rated very high up there.

However BDO is more of a Skyrim MMO (sandbox, no quest hubs, no 'endgame') than a WoW MMO (theme park, questing from town A to town B rinse repeat, raiding)

Nice graphics never made a bad game good, with modern gaming that should be blatantly obvious.

Firstly, some MMO players are very specific about graphics when it comes to playing an MMO. Especially immersive titles...

Secondly, are you saying BDO is a bad game?

Not at all, i've never played it so can't comment.
I can guarantee you though if any game is bad but has nice graphics much less people will play.
Sadly the same is true for good games with bad/old graphics.

I think unovpn will only allow you to play in the NA region, so ideally you need to get an EU vpn solution going.
They said they'd later incorporate more regions etc, but that could be anywhere between months-never.
 
Been playing since release
I have a 52 beserker and a 50 musa ( blader) in a semi hardcore guild , this game is not for casual players its a heavy grind but very rewarding.
Built myself a worker empire that collects materials and builds boats whilst I go and do grinding / Pvping

Some people say that there is no PvE end game but I guess you will only grasp the size of the game when you login each night and you thinking "what am I going to do tonight" Some bosses , some grinding , fishing , building , taming , training , guild missions, guild bosses .. I can go on and on and on.

Game is not for everyone BUT it is a great game :)
PS don't try and play this if you have a potato as a pc
