'Black diamonds' lose shine

I would say the research is correct, most people with "new" money are finding it harder.

1997/8 experience taught us a lot. Hopefully, people with 'new' money will learn from this experience. On Sat, my BMW dealer principal was complaining about sales, especially 2nd hand cars. They have a lot of cars on the floor which are orders canceled by clients.

Many people find themselves in financial difficulties as a result of materialism that has exploded in SA, black people were last on the bandwagon so it stands to logic that some of them will suffer the most from any financial fall-out.

About 14 months ago I was being inundated with offers for credit cards by all sorts of banks but I stood firm...many people can't resist the temptation, whether it be credit card or that latest A4 and only realise much later that they're way over their heads debt.
