Black op - disappointed

So I finally got to play black ops after months this past holidays. I was very excited as I really enjoyed MW2 and the previous ones. Must admit I was disappointed with the game. When I finished it I played MW2 again and the gameplay and storyline is so much more exciting in MW2. Anyone else experience this ?

Secondly what else is there to play now ? Similar games (Xbox) ?

Hi there we have loads of local players on mw2 since blops was such a fail add me i'll make some space WidgetDamage

Hi no internet at home yet , just moved and waiting in Telkom for my ADSL. Been out of sorts for the last few months and had little time for gaming but getting back into things , cannot wait to play MW2 on live.

Black ops was really overrated, imo so was mw2. Bad company 2, at least for me, has been the best shooter since the first modern warfare.

Battlefield 3 is looking like the shooter to beat this year, if modern warfare 3 is coming this year, and it most likely will, its gonna have to be incredible as BF3 has alot of gamers excited atm.

well its just my opinion, some peeps liked black ops, while others still use the word "peeps". Not sure on the specs of you laptop, but crysis 2 is pretty good if you want some FPS action....also you really cant not love portal 1 and 2
 
What?

Black Ops is amazing man! Excellent! I don't know why I didn't buy it when it came out?

Homefront: Read the reviews. SP is only 3 hours long. That sucks! The gameplay is not that wonderful in anycase.

Try Crysis 2 or Killzone 3 or Battlefield 2. I know I'm waiting for BF3.
 
Crysis 2, Homefront, MW2 or anything like that, but I personally wasn't impressed with Blops in the beginning but if you just play it you will actually find that you enjoy it.
 
Obviously Black Ops is going to be a FAIL for you if you don't play it online! I have had the game since the first day it was released and I have still yet to complete the campaign.

Gamers need to realize that game developers focus on providing massive multiplayer gaming experiences and the campaign (unless you can play it online), will always be an afterthought. The only reason they bother to get a campaign side of their game out there is so they can still sell to the market who don't play online (owning an xbox and not playing online is like buying a Ferrari and never driving it).

Black Ops multiplayer is groundbreaking and not to mention their little side project, Zombies. Do yourself a favor and get involved online before you make silly statements. :-)
