Black OPS Config changes

Hi all

I am using Iburst wireless and i get poor latency's in the game. Is there maybe some settings to change in the config file or console. My signal is around 80% to 94%. I dont have problems in modern warfare but in black ops

Any one that has Iburst and play BO please help???

If your ping is really bad (like 300+) then I'm assuming it's because Iburst doesn't peer with Mweb. No way to get around that if you're going to stick with Iburst...

I have heard that i must change my maxpackets and snaps. Around what sould the settings be on wireless.

Thats funny man im running 1meg with my iburst and im playing with no hassles ping is under a 100 everytime

Snaps and things only affect hit registration and can sometimes reduce stutter. If your latency is bad all the time then chances are your iburst signal isn't very good.

I've done it and it made it worse. I can't remember what the original settings was, but I need to go back to it.

This is the main thing to look at. My signal is 100% and I get 1mb when download as well. My latencies on JHB servers are pretty good. On CPT server, it's up and down.

Are you using the omni antennae or nothing? I used to use the omni, but disconnecting it made it better, speed and latencies. It all depends on how far you are from the tower and where your modem is located in your room.
