So I have been doing some reading relating Black Ops and it seems we are in for a hell of a ride!!!

According to this here it is going to be a very interesting game. Seems there are portions of the game where you will be commanding a squad. Kill Streaks are revised, there seems to be a whole lot more customization in Create a class (if I understand correctly it includes the actual soldier...

I am also pretty keen on the Co-op mode, seems you will be able to play 4 players coop... :eek: can't wait... Come Nov, please?

Do you guys reckon there will be some more info at Rage?

Yip I think its going to be a close one as it was with MW2 and BFBC2 regarding the Black ops and medal of honor.

Its going to be intresting to see what happens with the two older ones, if they are going to loose support or not.

But if Black ops stick to dedicated servers and dont want to charge us to play I think it might be one great game comming.

This will be the deciding factor for me, if I am going to buy the game or not.
 
I'll be super pissed if they decide to charge to play online!!!! That will make the cracked versions ever more popular.... like AlterIWNet.

Edit: Anyone know what type of PC specs are recommended ? I'm running a Q6600 @ 3.0ghz with 4gig 1066mhz Apogee GT Ram with an XFX GTX280 XXX ed. If the engine is essentially the same as MW2 then I have no issues!

I totally agree. And they wonder why piracy is so big, it's because they rob the poor guys whom actually buy the game. Same as CODMW2, R450 for the game, R115x2 for the 2 map packs and now everyone can play if for free. :mad:
 
Whispers we hear seem to indicate that Activision has some very important plans surrounding downloadable content for the upcoming release of Call of Duty: Black Ops. Rumors suggest that the company is planning a good amount of content to be released for sale very quickly to support the title and to keep players engaged and spending money to contribute to the bottom line of the sales of Call of Duty: Black Ops

I read somewhere about a possible "pay to play" for online..... my fark, if thats tru, then arrrr me mates! bring out the skull & crossbones !
