Hay guys, need a bit of help on how i go about updating my O.S... i have 4.6 with MTN
I'm aswel receiving problems that my phone's screen becomes white (blank) even while texting....not realy sure what can the cause be of that...well i have my bberry for more than a year now.....battery aswell giving in...so please assistance on updating my O.S

Before you do anything in haste, BB (with MTN) carries a 2 year warranty. Simply return the phone. They have a "replace the device" policy when it comes to BBs. I've had various issues with my BB during my 2 year contract and I'm sitting on my 3rd phone already. Don't bother upgrading. Simply take it back - you're paying for it!

lol!! thanx a lot for that info...
so how do i go about backing up all my info(data)....i mean i have a lot of personal info on my phone....
 
Install BB Desktop app and synch or is it backup (I forget)
That said, you'll need the usb cable that came with the phone.
 
the backup via desktop app, would that backup my application data as well...like opera mini bolt mxit and all that...?
