I updated my 8900 on Thursday with the latest available firmware from Blackberry.
BlackBerry Handheld Software v5.0.0.1004 (Multilanguage)
Package Version: 5.0.0.1004
Consisting of:
* Applications: 5.0.0.592
* Software Platform: 5.2.0.58
* File name: 8900M_PBr5.0.0_rel1004_PL5.2.0.58_A5.0.0.592_MTN.exe
* File size: 129MB
Since then I've been having problems with my BB. When I'm busy typing a message and a call or message comes through then the ringtone or message tone plays and stops. Then after that the phone only vibrates when I receive a call or message.
Only after I take out the battery and reboot the phone then everything is working again. Until it happens again.
What is the best thing for me to do now? It must be a problem with the Firmware.
