Got my 9700 today and I'm trying to bluetooth my contacts and pics from my nokia but it just keeps saying failed. Tried sending from old nokia to another phone and it sends. Then tried sending from blackberry to nokia and it sent on the 1st attempt without any hassle. so what could be the problem? How can I bluetooth my contacts and pics from my nokia to my blackberry?

You cannot send contacts via btooth to your bb.
To send pics you must go to media on bb.Select picture than press the bb button.Select receiving via bt then send it from your nokia. Before doing this 1st pair your bb to you nokia.

You can only send one item over Bt to you bb.More than one will fail.

So I gotta enter every contact anew, that's crappy! And can only send 1 item at a time! Man this gonna b 1 looong night. Thbx for the reply tho, much appreciated.

Copy all contacts to sim unless you have more numbers than what your sim can hold then you have a problem.Yes transfer 1 item at a time.Other soloution for your media is to just move you memory card to youru BOLD.Hope your Nokia takes a Microsd.................

Multiple no.s cnt be saved under 1 contact on a sim, am I right? My nokia has a built in 8GB memory. Was a good feature until today

Sync your nokia contacts (csv format) /photo etc to a pc
Then connect bb and choose import contact from the csv file

Don't forget to install the bb software on pc

Or sync the Nokia contact with Outlook, and then sync Outlook with the Blackberry.

Bluetooth implementation sucks on Blackberry, RIM really make it a nightmare to try to use bluetooth on the berry. There's a service called funambol (it's free) that allows you to sync contacts and calendars across a wide range of devices including symbian and blackberry. Google it I've used it before and it's quite good.
