Blackberry 9780 GPS Issues

Hello

I have just recently purchased a BB Bold 9780. There seems to be a GPS issue on the 9780 phones. The gps on these 9780 phones seem to lock up after a few hours and cannot get a location fix. The only way to get it working again is to reboot the phone every hour, then it will get a location and then stop working again a few hours down the line. I have a BB 9800 torch and a BB 9300 both of which work perfectly with my gps apps! The gps apps that i am using are accutracking(www.accutracking.com) and garmap. Has anybody experienced the same thing? is there perhaps a software fix? i am on the vodacom network. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have also experiened issues on Sat Nav application dont know if it is OS 6 related the cursor/trackpad doesnt work properly on the App.

Won't be an os issue as the 9300 and 9800 also run os6, not sure about the 9300 referenced above but mine runs os6 and bbmaps, gmaps, satnav and garmin all work perfectly, same with my moms pearl with satnav.

Its is possible that its a bug in the specific os on the 9780, there are obviousl differences between handsets mostly due to hardware differences, updating the os if possible would be the 1st troubleshoot that you should try as its mostly likely a break in communication between hardware and software.

The 3G is because of poor coverage, nothing more.
