I have a Blackberry Torch that worked perfectly on BIS using the blackberry.net apn until the 2nd of Jan. All of a sudden it switched to the mymtn apn and I have been paying for data since then. I am still connected to the BIS service, since me connection status is in capital letters.
I phoned 1555 and managed to speak to an operator who was extremely abrupt, to the point of rudeness. According to her I am confusing the phone by setting the TCP/IP apn to blackberry.net. When I told her that I was previously told by a 1555 operator to do this, she changed her story and said that I should change my connection to 2G. This makes no sense to me. Can someone please help?
