Blackberry 9800

Good day,

I have a Blackberry Torch 9800. Since yesterday everytime I type a BBM, SMS, Email or browse the web a square with AF appears in the top right corner. Can anybody please let me know what this is and what I should do?

Top left corner is language indicator, EN is english, AF is afrikaans, its what language is being used to spell check said message, it only shows up if you have switched languages at least once before.
