well going to monitor and keep a thread going on bb usages and how your battery is doing, but just getting general stats and might help others in future or compare with here goes:

Yes please. Do keep us updated. I have a contract due for upgrade now but I'm not going to get the 9900 now. I'm going to cancel this contract and get a 9900 on my other contract that is due in January. If everything is sorted out with the battery. The phone is so think they can actually make a extended battery for it.

can say thats pretty much a depleted battery, as it is soon to go onto no radio mode, so thats a days usage, very heavy usage today as i was adding, talking to alot of BBM contacts, constant mail and web browsing

Hence the reason BB released the rapid charger, get it, it works.

It should come boxed with the 9900 IMO.

The phone does charge seriously quickly at least

Was about to find this thread and add the same thing, phone charges seriously qucik till full again really good with usb acharger into the wall :) love it :) so its atleast a plus a quick chanrge lunch time works wonders :)

It only helps if you have access to a wall socket during the day, i really hope this battery lasts today

I am going back to basics on this battery issue. Removed myself from our BES environment (as it restores ALL previous settings and what not automatically), installed a shrunk .353 (seems to be very much the best battery performance), doing all the apps and settings manually from scratch, and see where I get with the battery issues

Have you guys used the BB device analyzer available on the 9900 ? You can get graphs of your batter drainage.

I'm on a leaked version of 7.1 bundle (921) 7.1.0.267.

I must admit that earlier versions had better battery life.

I just picked up my upgrade from MTN. So I have the v7.0.0.296 on atm do you guys think i have to upgrade to the latest 1 from crackberry or stay on this 1?

I would upgrade but to be honest I have not noticed any change for the better.
This phone is shocking on battery life.

So I have read that it is shocking on the battery but I still wanted it cause it looks like a epic phone. Only time will tell. Well my android phone I had to charge EVERY day so I guess if I have to do the same with this phone it won't be that much different.
