Blackberry and MTN Navigator

I wonder if DrData could answer this questions for us.

I received a sms from MTN thanking me for being a loyal MTN Blackberry User and that I may download MTN Navigator at no cost.

After downloading and installing it asks you to send a sms to activate it.

1. Does it cost anything to activate?

2. Does the software use BIS to download the maps?

3. Will it use any of my data?

I'm asking this on behalf of other users as well because I'm not the only one who received this message.

The SMS is standard rate. (same charge applies as when you send normal mobile to mobile).

The data usage for downloading the app and using it is all zero rated.

DrData, I don't know if you can help with this but maybe you can direct me to someone who can as I can't find any contact info on the website.

I want to log on to the Garmapformobile website with the username and password I got but I get a message, "No valid Subscription"

An activati request is sent when you sms that number. Have you tried it again, there might have been a delay with the activation.

If you still having issues, PM me your cell number and IMEI and BB Pin.
