Blackberry and work email (outlook)

I've bought a Blackbery Bold but also have a laptop that I recieve my mail on. I want to have my work emails sent to both devices (laptop and black berry) , but I do not want new emails to be only sent to the device that send/recieves first and the other not recieving the email.

I have thought of forwarding all the incoming mail to a gmail acccount and running that account through my black berry but if you have any better ideas please tell me.

I forward everything via a gmail account simply for the backup and spam filtering but you dont have to. You should receive your emails on both your PC and bberry.

Does your email server support imap?

If you are using an exchange you can just forward the email to your gmail account then mail will be delivered to both devices.

Blackberry also has software called desktop redirector which forward mails to your blackberry but it only works when your laptop is turned on.

The forwarding of mail causes problems with your calendar thou. So you can't really accept or create meetings with your BB.
 
Whould have worked if it was Exchange... Why not sync the Outlook and the Blackberry...?
 
I get around 100 emails a day so I want both my blackberry and outlook to recieve the same emails.
 
I have a internet POP3 mailbox which i access with my Blackberry and Outlook.
I did not make any special settings for my mail to be delivered on both mailboxes. I simply went trough the email wizard on the phone and set it up.
I have also set it up on about 5 phones and they all work fine. The blackberry only grabs a copy of the mail. To my knowing i have not missed a mail from either the phone or my outlook.

yea i am aware of that thank, have you seen the pricing on the connector tho? 4k US$ For now it works fine like this.

Do you recieve the same emails on both your black berry and pc regardless of which send/recieves first?
