Hi there as you all know I have a BlackBerry Curve 8520 and I am having problems with the 2nd one now. What does it mean when it resets then a pic of the battery shows with a ling going across?? please help

Does it show an error code? Like Error 502? It could be the OS needs to be reloaded.

I had endless problems with my wifes 8520 and then we resolved it by doing a new install - flashed the phone using the BB software and then installed only basic apps.
Turned out the culprit was an app that hogged system resources and caused endless grief. Since then the phone and battery have been 100%.

OK thank you guys. I redid the software system this morning and all seems to be good now so we will see. Hold thumbs

ok well phone gone back in for repair, I am sick and tired of it.... second time this particular handset has gone in

they swapped mine out and i got a refurbished handset which works well
i have the torch tho

The one I sent in was a refurbished one. The one I got originally, I got in Feb. Sent it end of March, got a refurbished and sent it in twice 
Why don't you then go on MYBB when your'e at home?

Well that was quick. My BB is already back with the couriers and should be at the MTN shop in the morning......... That was quick. 5 days and I was to wait originally a week to a week and a half. The one guy said they never told him what was wrong but it sounded like a software issue so hold thumbs it works.... Have been lost without my phone... I think I need to get a spare phone that can actually whatsapp in case this happens again lol
