Blackberry BIS problem on Cell C

Anybody else having difficulty on Cell C with their BIS?

Got my fiancee a Blackberry 8520 Curve on Monday and activated BIS the same day.

Only got the SMS that BIS is active today and she could message me via BB Messenger from work the whole day. But tonight when I tried setting up her e-mails BIS was not active anymore.

Keeps giving me a message that I am connected to a mobile network but not to data connection.

Cannot access the browser and BB Messenger messages does not get sent or delivered. And I've only got a GMS connection. Not even a edge/EDGE or gprs/GPRS connection.

I'm pretty sure Cell C has EDGE/GPRS coverage in Moreleta Park, Pretoria.

Try taking the battery out and put it back in.

Then go to options -> advanced options -> host routing table -> press menu and then select register now.

Thanks I tried that but didn't work either.

I'm on the phone now with my service provider and they say I should try the same thing. They also reset the APN or something but its not working yet. Will wait for another while and try again.

Any other advice?

This is still ongoing by the looks of things I think CellC didn't configure something properly, thank goodness I never moved over to BIS on CELLC, I will let the test people test their network and give feed back....

Best advice I can give you but I am not sure if it will work.. Go to Options - Advanced Options - Host Routing Table. Click on blackberry button and register now.. Give it a few minutes and have u asked cellc if bis is activated and if they can re-send u the service books
