I hope this is the right forum to put my question in. I've just upgraded my package on MTN (on Wednesday actually but supposedly it is active today). And with that I got a blackberry bold. However when I take my sim card out of my old phone and put it in the new phone the blackberry says "sim card error". It works in my old phone though and it says 3g on the sim card itself. MTN is not much help, they keep on sending me to their shops and the shops keep on sending me to the business call centre. And there was all sorts of excuses that it didnt work because my package was in the process of being upgraded. Im so frustrated I actually feel like cancelling my contract with MTN. I’ve never had such bad service by them before.
Anyone had this issue before? What did you have to do to fix it?
I'd appreciate any assistance.
