Blackberry connection issues 2012/06/30

Is there a problem with blackberry/VodaCom / BIS today .... Calls not going through messages(bbm) don't get delivered.

Phoned friends they say the same thing "bbm is not working" gf said she called several times and it went straight to voice mail.

Anyone know of a problem? Or is it jus me ?

RIM problem, they're working on it.

Central parts also affected : Bfn, Kimberley and surrounds. MTN and Voda, as far as I know.
I don't want to say this too loud, but the 2nd level support chap I spoke to at Vodacom, said the current failure looks a lot like the outtage last year... affecting Southern Africa and parts of Europe.

The Blackberry I have now is my first, and by the looks of it, my last. It doesn't even look like RIM is going to survive financially for me to have a second Berry for two years after upgrading next year.

Sigh. I really hope OS10 works out. Things which make me a BB devotee: full qwerty keyboard, BBM, BIS and the light to notify you when anything happens. Give me a droid with those features and I'll change today.
