I got this phone in March. It's a great little phone. Not had problems with it unlike the Curve I had. I have found though since I updated the software it has been resetting once a day once every 2 days. Is this normal?

Resetting on its own at specific times could be a setting. At random times could maybe be when memory is low or a fault.
Downgrade the software and see if the problem is still there.

Would harging by lap top have something to do with it as well????????

Maybe the software didn't load properly. Before you downgrade, connect the phone to your bb desktop software, and go to applications. Check for all updates to be done, and just to free up some space on the phone, delete all unnecessary languages and apps that you don't use.

If that doesn't help then try downgrading, like I said, it MIGHT help
