So... heres the story...
Since I have moved, my airtime usage has skyrocketed since I no longer have a telkom line. So I want to switch over to a top up 135 contract, as I dont think the weekend everyday contracts would be worth my while since I make calls all day.
Then, I am thinking of getting a blackberry. It is the 8520 that is the entry level curve right? So basically what would I have to pay in on a top up 135 contract to get a black berry?
Because I could then sell my current phone (a nokia 5130 xm for about R600 or so I guess) to cover part of the pay in. Option two, take out a top up 135 contract and another phone with no pay in, sell the new one and my current one, buy a black berry, and use my contract sim in there.
Would both cases mean an extra R69 a month for the BIS though?
What would be my best option?
Reason for the black berry: I currently dont have access to my emails, I use webmail while borrowing a friends laptop and iburst. And considering a couple mates have BB's, I should be able to cut down on smses quite dramatically with bbm as smses make up a large portion of my airtime usage.
