News about new BB10 phones releasing will be out only on 25 January 2013 via a press event. It would most likely cost twice the amount of an iPhone 5 considering just how overpriced the 9320 and co. are.

LOL. Current top-of-the-line BlackBerry is the 9900, selling at around R6K. Bottom of the line iPhone 5 is the 16GB model, selling at over R9K. I really doubt the BB10 phones will be too much more than the 9900.

Sure. On contract both can be had for the same monthly price of R399pm. The 9900 doesn't use hardware in the same class of the iPhone 5 now does it? ;)

PS: The iPhone 5 should realistically cost R6k after importing. The local distributors have inflated the price by a large margin.

Of course, the BB user will end up paying a lot less every month, when you take data into account.

As for hardware in the same class...the 9900 has a much better keyboard.

Keep believing that if you are content with a gimped internet experience and a delayed social network experience :)

I'm glad the networks like MTN and Vodacom have suckered ill-informed customers into signing up and are now throttling users into actually buying data bundles.

I don't have a problem...
