The question must've been asked dozens of times in this forum. My older brother unexpectedly offered me his two day old iPhone 4S in exchange for a Blackberry when I have to renew contract. I've been given time to think it over. The reason for the proposed exchange is thate he was used to Blackberry ("Bold") having a much longer battery life than iPhone. According to my contract I qualify for a new phone on 01 Oct 2012. I was considering to switch to Android (HTC or Samsung Galaxy S3) anyway. BTW, I'm aware of at least 5 people (some of whom I don't know personally) who switched from Blackberry to iPhone and none that switched to Android. All of the people complained about battery life but none of them ever wants another phone again or get rid of their iPhones!

Given the choice, would you take the iPhone, or wait and take the Android phone ? I understand that iPhone uses a mini-sim. For iPhone I will then have to get a new SIM even though I am still on Blackberry contract.

Thanks.

I didn't even read the content - iPhone.

Sincerely
A 9800 user

Do it before he changes his mind!!!!

iPhone >> Blackberry

Tough :/

The Androids have always been ahead of the iPhone anyway - and I think S3 raises the bar once again. I'd wait for the Android

Thanks.

Except your brother!?!?

If you don't mind looking like you're holding a bar of soap get the S3.I would go for the iPhone but if you are leaning towards Android you can't go wrong with the HTC one X.
Seriously though take the time to do some research(there is lots of material available on the web)as everyone has very unique needs and a smartphone is a big investment which you want to get right.
