Blackberry transfer?

My phone is dying slowly and my upgrade is only August 2010.

I'm thinking of buying a used Blackberry Bold now and then when August comes, sell it and get my upgrade.

How easy to transfer the settings across when the time comes? I hear every BB has a unique BB number or PIN or something.

Can this be transferred too?

It's really easy, you just use the desktop software to transfer all your settings and contacts.

you'll have a new pin that you will have to give to your contacts.
If you've setup an online BIS account already, just change the pin and imei on your account.
