Blackburn Rovers

League
15. Blackburn - 37 - 40 (GD -14)
16. Wolves - 37 - 40 (GD -19)
17. Birmingham - 37 - 39 (GD -20)
18. Blackpool - 37 - 39 (GD -21)
19. Wigan - 37 - 39 (GD -22)
20. West Ham - 37 - 33 (GD -24)

3 go down; West Ham already gone.

So 2 of: Blackburn, Wolves, Birmingham, Blackpool, Wigan

Fixtures:
Wolves v Blackburn
Tottenham v Birmingham
Man Utd v Blackpool
Stoke v Wigan

Man Utd WILL beat Blackpool. So Blackpool will be relegated.

Leaves 1 of: Blackburn, Wolves, Birmingham, Wigan

If Stoke beat Wigan, then Wigan are relegated and the other games won't make a difference.

If Wigan beat Stoke, then Spurs must beat Birmingham for Wolves and Blackburn to be safe.

If Wigan and Birmingham win their games (draws won't help due to goal difference), then the Wolves vs Blackburn game is a straight battle for the 3rd relegation spot.

/damn, hope I got that right!!!!

I certainly hope so. Birmingham are playing cr@p, so they will likely go down. Hope Wigan stay up.

Happy West Ham are down. Hopefully, Blackburn and Blackpool go down. I wish Stoke, Bolton and Blackburn could go down and never come back.

Would personally prefer Blackpool and Wigan to go down.

Sorry boet but your owners are possibly the worst ever, worse than Hicks and Gillett. That nagging aunty (Arundhra Desai) is driving your manager to drink. Fck imagine what must be going through his mind when flying to India for his monthly meeting with her.

But they all deserve each other. Your owners are shyte, your manager Kean is shyte, your players are shyte, your stadium is shyte. Just go down to the championship so I don't have to hear about you tw@ts ever again. I'm just saying :)

I hope Blackpool stay up. They're entertaining, whether they're winning or losing.

Would like to see Blackpool stay up. They've provided a lot of entertainment.

Not a fan of Wolves, but if you look at the scalps they took this season, it would be fair if they survived.

Wigan, no opinion on them.

Blackburn fired "Big Sam". Don't know how they expected to stay up with out his tactical prowes. No sympathy from me. :p

Wouldn't shed a tear if Birmingham go down. Koscielny should be at the game and slap that guy behind the head, asking him how he feals now. Anyway, if they go down does that mean that a Championship team will be playing in Europa?

PS. Can Stoke still go down? I don't know if I would survive a EPL season without the finer nuiances of ball drying. :p

For Blackpool to stay up they must beat Man Utd at Old Trafford. Stories filtering through from OT is that SAF will not be fielding his full strength team on Sunday ahead of the CL final. This could help Blackpool just a little bit and will really put the cat amongst the pigeons!

Then it comes down to a "must-win" scenario for Wigan, Birmingham, Wolves and Blackburn. Whoever loses is gone.

Even with a reserve team, We will beat blackpool.

That team will still include Fletcher, Berbatov, Smalling, Anderson, Evra and probably VdS.

Agreed, hence what I wrote in post #2 and also added the "just a little bit" above!!

Van der Sar MUST play - there is no way SAF can leave him out, with it being his last game. LEGEND.

Legend. He's gonna be hard to replace. After Schmeichel, we had one disaster after another: Bosnich, Taibi, Ricardo, Barthez, Howard, Caroll. We could have won at least 3 more UCL titles if not for these tw@ts. Neuer's going to Bayern. I don't rate any of the targets: Da Gea, Stelkenberg or Lloris. I would go for Buffon, Akinfeev or Adler

Was just kidding about Stoke going down btw.

Think Blackpool game is going to be a cracker. I fancy them to take it. United weakend team, post league win blues and 1 eye on the champs league.

A lot of ingredients for a upset. May
be a good bet to take, wonder what the odds are?

I remember the one time when West Ham was facing the drop and beat Man U at home, was the last game 2.
